I have given multiple hands-on workshops in UIUC's College of Education Instructional Computing PC and Mac Labs on the topics of Web page design and PowerPoint for instructional purposes. I have also taught 4th- through 6th-graders basic computing skills in the PC labs of Beloit College.

As I began to make my teaching materials available on the Internet, I found they were in high demand. This led to eventual development of a Computer-Assisted Language Learning CD-ROM which I marketed and sold by the hundreds at regional and national workshops. News of my success spread, and soon I was delivering CALL workshops to Japanese teachers of English as well.

Development of CALL for JETs was for the most part put on hold while I attended graduate school, but I am ready to begin work again with strongly enhanced technical skills and a broader understanding of contemporary pedagogy and learning theory.
